Hawaii State Capitol Tours
Self-guided tours* are available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. year-round, with the exception of state holidays. The Capitol is closed on weekends.
A self-guided tour pamphlet, along with additional visitors’ information, is available at the Governor’s Office of Constituent Services, located in Room 415 on the 4th floor of the Capitol building. The self-guided tour pamphlet, activity booklets for keiki (children), and a map of the Capitol district area can also be downloaded on this page.

*Please be advised that the House and Senate Galleries will not be accessible for self-guided tours.
Guided tours for the general public are available on a first-come, first-served basis (20 people maximum) Tuesday through Friday at 1 p.m., with the exception of state holidays. Individuals wishing to take the tour are asked to meet in Room 415, located on the 4th floor of the State Capitol Building, at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the tour.
Guided tours for groups require scheduling at least two weeks in advance of your desired tour date. Requests for guided tours can be made online using our Tour Request Form. From June 10 through the end of August 2014 guided group tours will be available only at 10 a.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Tour requests are currently being accepted through November 28, 2014. To schedule a tour for another date, please phone the Office of the Governor during December 2014 or later. All tours are subject to availability.
