Important Notice Regarding State IDs: In January 2013, the state identification card program will transfer from the Department of Attorney General to the Department of Transportation and administered by the counties. As a result, beginning on Jan. 2, 2013, state ID cards will be issued at drivers’ license locations (The Governor’s Neighbor Island Liaison Offices will no longer be issuing state IDs).
