PSD NEWS RELEASE: Laumaka work furlough inmate fails to return to facility after work

HONOLULU – Work furlough inmate Eric Walsh failed to return to the Laumaka Work Furlough Center. He left for work this afternoon and was scheduled to return by 9:30 p.m.  State Sheriffs and Honolulu Police were notified.

Walsh is 49-years old. He is 6’1” tall and weighs 159 lbs. He has red hair and blue eyes.

Walsh is serving time for Identity Theft 2. His next parole hearing is scheduled for August 2017.

Walsh is a community custody inmate in the work furlough program.  Inmates in the work furlough program are either actively seeking employment or working in the community.  Community custody is the lowest classification status.
