On Wednesday the DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife’s (DOFAW) Kaulunani Urban and Community Forestry Program reaches a major milestone. For the last two years a group of volunteers in Kailua have been measuring and mapping more than 4,000 trees and their data provides valuable information about urban trees to help resource experts better manage these important community assets.
