OAHU LANE CLOSURES

FOR THE WEEK OF OCT. 27 – NOV. 2

— H-1 FREEWAY —

 

1) HONOLULU (24-HOUR WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pali Highway overpass and the Houghtailing Street underpass on Friday, Oct. 26, through Friday, Nov. 2, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

2) HONOLULU (24-HOUR WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Liliha Street overpass on Friday, Oct. 26, through Friday, Nov. 2, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions on Sunday night, Oct. 28, through Friday morning, Nov. 2, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

  • Two right lanes will be closed in the eastbound direction between the Gulick Avenue overpass and the Kalihi Street overpass.
  • Two right lanes will be closed in the westbound direction between the Queen Emma Street overpass and the Houghtailing Street underpass.

 

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Alternating lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Nimitz Highway offramp (Exit 15) and the Middle Street/Dillingham Boulevard offramp (Exit 18B) on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

5) KAIMUKI (DAY AND NIGHT WORK)

Up to two lanes closed the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Hunakai Street underpass and the 21st Avenue underpass on Monday, Oct. 29, through Friday, Nov. 2, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., and on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sign, electric, and guardrail work.

 

6) KALIHI

Alternating lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Houghtailing Street underpass and the Palama Street underpass on Monday, Oct. 29, through Thursday, Nov. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

7) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Farrington Highway overpass on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., for maintenance work.

 

8) PEARL CITY (DAY AND NIGHT WORK)

Up to two lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Lehua Avenue underpass and the Pearlridge/Waimalu offramp (Exit 10) on Monday, Oct. 29, through Friday, Nov. 2, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., and on Friday, Nov. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sign, electric, and guardrail work.

 

9) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Friday night, Oct. 26, through Sunday morning, Oct. 28, for striping work.

 

Friday night (Shoulder lane will be closed)

  • Two lanes will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
  • Three lanes will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.

 

Saturday night (Shoulder lane will be open)

  • Two lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m.
  • Three lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Moanalua Road onramp on Tuesday night, Oct. 30, through Friday morning, Nov. 2, from 6:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., for panel saw cutting work.

 

  • Two lanes will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Three lanes will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Up to three lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Kaamilo Street overpass and the H-1/H-2 split on Tuesday night, Oct. 30, through Friday morning, Nov. 2, from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m., for panel saw cutting work. The shoulder will be open.

 

  • Two lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Right lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Honolulu-bound direction on the Likelike Highway onramp on Monday, Oct. 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., for maintenance work.

Roving right lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in both directions between Kili Drive and Nanakuli Avenue on Tuesday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for electrical maintenance work.

 

3) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in both directions between the Aliinui Drive overpass and Hakimo Road on Sunday night, Oct. 28, through Friday morning, Nov. 2, from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for road striping.

 

4) NANAKULI (NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in both directions between Haleakala Avenue and Nanakuli Avenue on Monday night, Oct. 29, through Friday morning, Nov. 2, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for traffic signal installation work and cable removals.

Roving lane closure on Kahekili Highway (Route 83) in both directions between Hui Iwa Street and Haiku Road on Monday, Oct. 29, through Friday, Nov. 2, from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

Lane closure on Kahekili Highway (Route 83) in the northbound direction in the vicinity of Hui Iwa Street on Monday, Oct. 29, through Friday, Nov. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for drain improvements.

 

3) KANEOHE

Right lane closure on Kahekili Highway (Route 83) in the northbound direction between Kahuhipa Street and Haiku Road on Monday, Oct. 29, through Friday, Nov. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sewer improvements. The bike lane and sidewalk will be closed during this time.

Lane closures on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) in the westbound direction between West Hind Drive and the H-1 Freeway on Sunday night, Oct. 28, through Friday morning, Nov. 2, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for resurfacing work and pavement striping. Traffic will be contraflowed in the eastbound direction.
