Each year in the United States more than 15,780 children from birth to 19 years old are diagnosed with cancer—more than 43 diagnoses each day.

The Hawaii Long-Term Care Ombudsman (LTCO) Program works to resolve problems related to the health, safety, welfare, and rights of individuals who live in long-term care facilities, which include nursing homes, adult residential care homes (ARCHs), expanded ARCHs, community care foster family homes, assisted living facilities, and other long-term care settings.

The Drive Aloha campaign initiated in August 2016 by DTRIC Insurance Company is a community effort to educate drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists in practicing safe and courteous behavior by reminding everyone to take responsibility for their actions on the streets.
