Search underway for Missing OCCC Work Furlough Inmate

 

HONOLULU — Oʻahu Community Correctional Center (OCCC) work furlough inmate Whitney Edayan failed to return to Module 20 today.

Edayan, 66, left Module 20 on a job-seeking furlough pass this morning and was supposed to return at about noon today. Sheriffs and Honolulu Police were notified.

He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and approximately 200 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Edayan is serving time for felony sex assault and kidnapping. His next parole hearing is scheduled for February 2024.

Anyone with information on Edayan’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Sheriffs at 808-586-1352.
