Hawaiʻi Army National Guard Convoys on Oʻahu Roads
Kalaeloa, Hawai‘i – The Hawaiʻi Army National Guard (HIARNG) has completed annual training exercises on Hawaiʻi Island and will be conducting convoy operations from Honolulu Harbor’s pier 39, back to its facilities (Kalaeloa and Mililani) from June 16 to July 16, 2024.
Military vehicles with trailers will leave Sand Island Access Rd., then continue to Nimitz Hwy to the viaduct, and then continue on H-1 West. Some vehicles will continue on H-1 to Kalaeloa and some will take H-2 and continue to the Mililani Tech Park area. The 10-vehicle convoys will travel within the window of 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays only, from June 16 to July 16. The convoys will use the far-right lane on all roadways.
Motorists are advised to be aware of the higher numbers and possible slower speeds of the military vehicles along their routes.
